6th Sense Innovations is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Cabinetmaker to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• The candidate must prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage.
• The candidate must shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
• The candidate must study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
• The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• The candidate must apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
