Job Description

The candidate must test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
The candidate must instruct apprentices.
The candidate must maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
The candidate must maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
The candidate must maintain inventory of stored material.
The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
The candidate must interpret electrical code specifications.
The candidate must conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.
The candidate must read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine equipment layout.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
