Job Description
- The candidate must test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- The candidate must instruct apprentices.
- The candidate must maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
- The candidate must maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- The candidate must maintain inventory of stored material.
- The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
- The candidate must interpret electrical code specifications.
- The candidate must conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.
- The candidate must read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine equipment layout.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
