SAIDOKE BROS RENOVATION LTD. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a self-motivated Floor covering installer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
• The candidate must inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
• The candidate must prepare floors for installations.
• The candidate must remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
