Acier Picard is situated in Lévis, QC and is hiring a Machine tool set-up man/woman to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Night, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and set up machines for repetitive machining operations.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must enter CNC codes specifying speed, feed and tool paths.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
