Farm supervisor

Piccioni Bros. Mushroom Farm Ltd in Dundas, ON is seeking a self-motivated Farm supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must maintain quality control and production records.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
