Kids connection is situated in Strathmore, AB and is hiring a Early childhood educator (ece) - level 1 to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
• The candidate must assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties.
• The candidate must develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• The candidate must encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
• The candidate must discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
• The candidate must establish guidelines for behaviour.
• The candidate must establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a child care centre, a day nursery, or a crèches, probably the most formal childcare setting.
