Job Description

The candidate must apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints smoothly.
The candidate must apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster.
The candidate must fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
The candidate must measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
The candidate must position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
The candidate must smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry.
The candidate must tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
The candidate must install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
