Mcknight Village Physiotherapy Clinic is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Massage therapist (MT) to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must consult with other health care professionals when developing treatment plans for clients.
• The candidate must administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower grade mobilizations.
• The candidate must apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body.
• The candidate must assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans.
• The candidate must explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
• The candidate must maintain records of treatments given.
• The candidate must massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
• The candidate must suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.

Work Setting

• The applicant should work in a healthcare institution, facility, or clinic that provides health care.
