Duron Atlantic Limited ( Dartmouth, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Concrete finisher. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
