Excavator operator

Lenbeth Weeping Tile is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Excavator operator to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must measure distance, volume, length, and weight.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
