Computer network technician

Keysoft Technologies Inc. ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Computer network technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate access and use of computer networks.
• The candidate must maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment.
• The candidate must monitor the performance of computer systems and networks.
• The candidate must troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
• The candidate must evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
• The candidate must provide problem-solving services to network users.
• The candidate must implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
• The candidate must perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
• The candidate must perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• The candidate must set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.
• The candidate must implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
