Ébénisterie Louiseville Inc. in Louiseville, QC is seeking a self-motivated Cabinetmaker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Overtime available, , 07:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
• The candidate must shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
• The candidate must study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
• The candidate must trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit and reinforce joints.
• The candidate must sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• The candidate must maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
