ABATTOIR ST-GERMAIN INC. in Saint-Germain-de-Grantham, QC is seeking a self-motivated Butcher, slaughterhouse. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
• The candidate must cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses or sides into primal cuts for further processing or packaging.
• The candidate must remove bones from meat.
• The candidate must cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in slaughter houses.
