Beekeeping technician

LALLIER APIARIES INC ( Morinville, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Beekeeping technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend, , 08:00 to 17:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
