Delivery driver

BLACKWELL DAIRY FARM INC. is situated in Kamloops, BC and is hiring a Delivery driver to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must accept payment or invoices for items delivered.
• The candidate must keep a record of items received and delivered.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must sort packages for delivery.
• The candidate must follow directions and read maps.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be punctual.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
