This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must bathe and shampoo animals.
• The candidate must document animal behaviour accurately.
• The candidate must monitor and evaluate animal behaviour.
• The candidate must prepare food and feed animals.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures.
• The candidate must keep records of animals treated.
• The candidate must supervise helpers.
• The candidate must clean animal ears.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.
• The candidate must clip animal nails.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in an animal shelter to care for animals, maintain facilities, and support adoption services.
