Beekeeper

Innisfil Creek Honey Ltd ( Cookstown, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Beekeeper. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must interact with bees based on knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology, and caste system.
• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must work with honey bees.
• The candidate must maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
