Hairstylist

First Choice Haircutters ( Innisfil, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Hairstylist. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must book appointments.
• The candidate must cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• The candidate must shampoo customers’ hair.
• The candidate must shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• The candidate must provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages.
• The candidate must apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
• The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.
• The candidate must perform receptionist duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, performing hair care services in a well-organized environment and maintaining tools and equipment properly to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
