Bridgemans Crew Management LTD in Squamish, BC is inviting applications for the position of Able-bodied seaman/woman. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Overtime required.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean, chip, and paint deck surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in a room, and board provided dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and well-being where our staff members thrive.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
