Barista

Milk and Sugar in Kelowna, BC is seeking a self-motivated Barista. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Work schedule: Morning, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
