Assembler, switchgear and control panel

CO7 Technologies Inc. in Sherbrooke, QC is seeking a self-motivated Assembler, switchgear and control panel. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints.
• The candidate must collect, record, and summarize inspection results.
• The candidate must interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• The candidate must wire electrical connections for switchboards and panel boards.
• The candidate must assemble panelboard and switchboard cabinets and install bus bars.
• The candidate must check final assemblies for adherence to quality control standards.

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a control equipment manufacturing facility to assemble, test, and maintain control systems and components.
