LOAF Bakery in Parksville, BC is seeking a self-motivated Baker helper. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
