SHAN DRYWALL LTD. in Chestermere, AB is inviting applications for the position of Insulator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must select the type of insulation required.
• The candidate must measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
• The candidate must fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• The candidate must install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• The candidate must fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• The candidate must make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems and contact tradespersons for major repairs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
