Automotive service technician

Now hiring: Automotive service technician at Southside Nissan in Vancouver, BC. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must road test motor vehicles.
• The candidate must test automotive systems and components.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
