Lobster processor - fish processing

JMK fish mart inc is situated in Summerside, PE and is hiring a Lobster processor - fish processing to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must cut and weigh fish fillets according to specifications.
• The candidate must cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
• The candidate must scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets, and remove scrap parts using a knife.
• The candidate must disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans preparatory to canning or further processing.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must set up and operate machines to can, bag, box, or otherwise package fish and seafood products.
• The candidate must set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate, or otherwise process fish or seafood products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.

• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
