Les Équipements Pierre-Paul Beaulieu inc. ( Rimouski, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Welder. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
