Spectrum Fabrications Inc. ( Maple Ridge, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Welder. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
• The candidate must start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
