Warehouseperson

Stream Logistics is situated in Burnaby, BC and is hiring a Warehouseperson to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, , 16:00 to 22:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must build pallets.
• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must store cargo and materials.
• The candidate must transport and distribute materials and goods.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a trucking company to manage transportation logistics, operate vehicles safely, and ensure timely deliveries.
• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate must work in a cross-docking facility to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and ensure timely and efficient distribution of goods.
