Nursery labourer

Westbank Nursery Ltd in Westside, BC is seeking a self-motivated Nursery labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, To be determined, , 09:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas.
• The candidate must cut horticultural crops.
• The candidate must plant bulbs and seeds.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
