User support technician

Retreat Guru is situated in Nelson, BC and is hiring a User support technician to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers and related systems.
• The candidate must consult user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and implement solutions.
• The candidate must provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
• The candidate must collect, organize, and maintain a problems-and-solutions log for use by technical support analysts.
• The candidate must participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must manage incidents.
• The candidate must perform usability testing.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be accurate.
