Bhasin Building Maintenance Ltd in Nelson, BC is inviting applications for the position of Light duty cleaner. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect elevators.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate should work in commercial buildings where commercial activities occur, including office buildings, retail space, warehouses, etc.
• The candidate should work in a private residence, office, or work area only open to the public in the ordinary course of business if by individual invitation.
• The candidate should work in a shopping center or mall and provide a business place that includes retail space/units, facilities, and services to potential retailers.
• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
