Ottawa Valley Kitchens in Richmond, ON is inviting applications for the position of Truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
