Minute Bakery LTD. in Richmond, BC is inviting applications for the position of Clerk, bakery counter. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Casual employment - Part time. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must prepare special orders.
• The candidate must inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must draw up production schedules.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
