Millen Farms Ltd in Great Village, NS is seeking a self-motivated Truck driver. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
