Transmission assembler

BEST TRANSMISSION AND AUTO REPAIRS Ltd ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Transmission assembler. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Overtime required, Day, Flexible hours, , 08:30 to 17:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies.
• The candidate must assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products.
• The candidate must assemble or connect electrical components.
• The candidate must position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• The candidate must fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment.
• The candidate must inspect finished products for proper functioning.
• The candidate must check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning.
• The candidate must make minor adjustments and repairs as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
