Ksan Society in Terrace, BC is inviting applications for the position of Support worker - social services. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Casual employment - Part time leading to full time position. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform administrative and office activities.
• The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must perform housekeeping activities.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work in a shelter for the homeless, providing support, programs, and services to assist individuals experiencing homelessness.
