Software engineer

DCS TECHNOLOGIES INC. is situated in Sicamous, BC and is hiring a Software engineer to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems.
• The candidate must develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify solutions.
• The candidate must develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• The candidate must prepare plans to maintain software.
• The candidate must upgrade and maintain software.
• The candidate must lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.
• The candidate must operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
