IT (information technology) development manager

DCS TECHNOLOGIES INC. in Sicamous, BC is seeking a self-motivated IT (information technology) development manager. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and technicians.
• The candidate must coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must recruit staff.
• The candidate must review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements.
• The candidate must supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other personnel.
• The candidate must establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems.
• The candidate must authorize development of product or service specifications.
• The candidate must meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
