Shuttle bus driver

Destination NWT is situated in Yellowknife, NT and is hiring a Shuttle bus driver to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers.
• The candidate must load and unload vehicles.
• The candidate must direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures.
• The candidate must complete logbooks and reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
