MARAR ORCHARDS LTD. is situated in Creston, BC and is hiring a Truck driver to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan or adjust routes using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
