COX CONTRACTORS LTD ( High Prairie, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Shop supervisor, small equipment repair. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must operate CADD and other computer software systems.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
• The candidate must pick orders and stock items.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
• The candidate must order parts and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must identify, label, and catalogue received items.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
