High Prairie and Area Dental Clinic in High Prairie, AB is inviting applications for the position of Dentist. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean teeth in accordance with professional standards.
• The candidate must diagnose dental diseases.
• The candidate must examine patients’ teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue.
• The candidate must instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• The candidate must plan comprehensive dental health treatments.
• The candidate must restore, extract and replace diseased or decayed teeth.
• The candidate must perform oral and periodontal surgeries and related treatments.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must design bridgework, fit dentures and provide dental appliances.
• The candidate must prepare fabrication instructions or prescriptions for denturists and dental technicians.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Setting
