School bus driver

Wilde School, Blue Mountains is situated in Kimberley, ON and is hiring a School bus driver to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Casual employment - Part time employment. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers.
• The candidate must report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents.
• The candidate must direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures.
• The candidate must deal with the public.
• The candidate must ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and while crossing streets when the bus is stopped.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
