General labourer - farm

Olszowka Poultry Inc. is situated in 1230 Regional Rd. 21Langton, ON and is hiring a General labourer - farm to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses.
