Sales and distribution manager

Eclipse Roofing Ltd. in Etobicoke, ON is seeking a self-motivated Sales and distribution manager. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must arrange training for staff.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.
• The candidate must determine strategic planning related to new product lines.
• The candidate must establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales.
• The candidate must lead the sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts.
• The candidate must organize regional and divisional sales operations.
• The candidate must plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of sales departments in commercial, industrial, wholesale, retail, and other establishments.
• The candidate must recruit, organize, train, and manage staff.
• The candidate must assign, co-ordinate, and review projects and programs.
• The candidate must lead and instruct groups.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must manage events.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
