Civil engineering technician

KEYPLAN Measuring Inc. ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Civil engineering technician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
• The candidate must assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
• The candidate must participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
• The candidate must prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
• The candidate must prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• The candidate must maintain equipment and instruments.
• The candidate must record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
