shoppers drug mart ( Chatham, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Retail store supervisor. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design teams.
• The candidate must assign duties to sales workers.
• The candidate must hire and train staff or arrange for their training as required.
• The candidate must teach interest or professional development courses.
• The candidate must authorize payments via cheque.
• The candidate must plan and develop permanent, temporary, or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
• The candidate must order merchandise.
• The candidate must authorize the return of merchandise.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must sell merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
• The candidate must resolve issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
