Retail sales representative

G-P Distributing inc is situated in Whitehorse, YT and is hiring a Retail sales representative to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must maintain stock rotation.
• The candidate must order stock.
• The candidate must place stock on shelves.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
