Retail loss prevention officer

Exodus Investigators Group in Cornwall, ON is seeking a self-motivated Retail loss prevention officer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate may be required to appear in court as a witness.
• The candidate must produce reports.
• The candidate must enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities.
• The candidate must patrol assigned areas.
• The candidate must prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
