Registered nurse (R.N.)

YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP is situated in Vernon, BC and is hiring a Registered nurse (R.N.) to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' conditions.
• The candidate must assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate must provide nursing care.
• The candidate must supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
• The candidate must provide up-to-date immunization records.
• The candidate must be able to pass a tuberculosis test.
